We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator, ideally with a background in HR, who understands the importance of accuracy in their work and delivering a professional employee experience.
About the HR Administrator role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, improving processes, and ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience from onboarding through to offboarding.
As an integral part of the HR Operations function, you will be the first point of contact for employees, whilst acting as a central point for all HR administrative activity, ensuring our people processes run efficiently and accurately while maintaining high‑quality data, systems, and compliance.
This position is based in our Peterborough office. We are open to both full‑time and part‑time arrangements, with flexibility on working hours and days between Monday and Friday.
Key areas of responsibilities you will hold in this role:
Employee Life-cycle & Operational Delivery
Deliver end‑to‑end HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring all processes are completed accurately, consistently, and on time
Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding activities, including system setup, documentation, and collaboration with IT, Finance, and other support teams
Work collaboratively with wider business support functions to ensure a seamless and efficient approach to employee life-cycle processes
Coordinate probation review cycles and support managers with timely reminders and documentation
HR Queries & Employee Support
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries via the shared inbox, triaging requests, resolving routine queries, and escalating more complex matters where needed
Administer employee benefits processes, including enrolments and changes, ensuring a smooth employee experience
HR Documentation & Compliance
Produce and manage a range of HR documentation, including contracts, change letters, and general correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Conduct and record employment compliance checks, maintaining up‑to‑date and accurate records
Maintain all employee records in line with data governance standards
HR Systems, Data & Reporting
Maintain and update HR systems (e.g., Personio), ensuring high data integrity and supporting reporting needs
Support payroll processes through accurate data input and efficient coordination
Provide reporting and general administrative support to the HR team and wider firm as needed
HR Projects, Events & General Support
Support HR-related activities and initiatives, including engagement projects, staff committees, and well-being or awareness events
Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as reasonably requested
Who is our ideal candidate?
Strong administrative experience, ideally within HR or a people-focused environment
Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and deadlines
A proactive, helpful, and team‑oriented approach
Confidence using HR systems or databases
Clear communication skills and a passion for delivering an excellent employee experience
